Join us for the seventh annual Western Colorado Food and Farm Forum. It's geared toward anyone with an interest in the future of agriculture, including: ranchers, farmers, gardeners, students and ag professionals. This year's theme is Healthy Fields, Farmers, Futures.
The Western Colorado Food and Farm Forum will be held January 25th - 26th in Montrose, Colorado. Featuring Joel Salatin – Learn and laugh with "the most famous farmer in the world." Keynote, book-signing and community presentation of Dancing with Dinner: Healing the nutritional deficit in the urban, rural divide. Also, Ben Hartman - The Lean Farm: How to Minimize Waste, Increase Efficiency, and Maximize Value and Profits with Less Work. Half day workshop, breakout, and book-signing. Plus other workshops focusing on innovative crop, livestock, specialty crops, marketing and regenerative management practices that increase profits and lower stress. Don't forget the Farmer to Farmer Invention Convention – Come share your ingenuity and win cash prizes! Sessions will be offered in Spanish and English.
